Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Venture Analysis Intern to join our team. In this role, you will assist in evaluating potential investments for our innovation fund, focusing on startups that leverage cutting-edge AI technologies. You will perform market research, analyze business models, and assess the strategic fit of various ventures. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in venture capital, startup evaluation, and the emerging field of AI-driven innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research on startups and emerging technologies, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence.
  • Assist in the evaluation of startup pitches, analyzing business models, financials, and market potential.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on potential investments, highlighting strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks.
  • Participate in meetings with startup founders, providing support in assessing their vision, strategy, and execution capabilities.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new investment opportunities.
  • Assist in due diligence processes, gathering and analyzing data to support investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop investment theses and strategic recommendations.
  • Support the management of the innovation fund’s portfolio, tracking the performance of invested companies and identifying opportunities for added value.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to assess complex business models and financial statements.
  • A deep interest in startups, venture capital, and emerging technologies, especially artificial intelligence.
  • Excellent research and writing skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports and presentations.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with startup founders and other stakeholders.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling, valuation techniques, and venture capital is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for exploring how AI can drive innovation and create new business opportunities.
